Check Your Grades

Paper copies of progress reports will no longer be mailed home. Progress reports are now available online through Parent Portal! Parent Portal is a secure website and mobile app offered by the Fowler School District which provides parents access to essential academic and classroom information about your child. You may access the weekly progress reports through your students Clever account (students know how to access their accounts) or by following the Parent Portal link below.

If you still need help to set up your account, please contact the Santa Maria Middle School office at (623) 707-1100.

We encourage you to log on regularly to Parent Portal to stay informed about your student's progress.

Please reach out to the individual teachers if you have questions about your student's progress report.

A Message from Our Principal

Hello, Bulldog Community!

I hope you and your families are doing well. During the last few months, there have been drastic changes in how we live our lives. We all wish that things were different and that students could be in school with their friends, learning in person with their favorite teachers. Please know that in spite of circumstances beyond our control, teachers and administrators worked very hard to not compromise student learning. We believe we have done the best we can do with the situation as it is.

I know that some of you may have been profoundly affected by this epidemic and that some of you may have lost loved ones. I wish these things were not so, and you have my deepest sympathy for your loss. During this time, we are all facing difficulties beyond our control, and that can leave us feeling frustrated and powerless. Oftentimes, the only choice that we have is the attitude we begin each day with. All of us need to remember that each day we can choose to view our situation through light and positivity; or through darkness and fear. That choice is always in our control. We must remind ourselves that this too shall pass. There is an abundance of grace, resiliency, and courage that lies in the hearts and minds of all us. Please, be assured that we are here for you, and we will be together once again in the near future. For now, let us all strive every day to do the very best that we can.

Your Santa Maria Middle School Principal,

Desiree Castillo
