Congratulations, Mr. Caro, on earning the SMMS 2025–2026 teacher of the year!
After 15 years of dedication to the students of Santa Maria, Mr. Caro is being recognized as the 2025–2026 West Side Impact Teacher of the Year. Mr. Caro always has a positive attitude, making learning fun. He is known for expecting and receiving excellence from his students. He is always willing to try new things, provide new opportunities, and take on new challenges if it will benefit SMMS students. He is a leader among staff, serving as a lead teacher and mentor. Next, he will step into the role of ELD teacher. We are thankful and happy he is part of the Santa Maria Learning Community.
